How Khashif works

Khashif is a personal AI discovery agent. It sounds the open web for the crossings that matter to you, surfaces the opportunities worth your attention, and — unlike most agents — watches what happened after.

Like a bat in the dark, it doesn't see the web — it sounds it, and moves toward the echoes.

What is a discovery agent?

A discovery agent is software that goes out and finds, rather than waiting to answer a single prompt. It scans the open web continuously, classifies what it sees against your field, follows links a few hops deep, and brings back leads and crossings you would never have searched for. That continuous, goal-directed sensing — not one question, one answer — is what makes it an agent.

How does Khashif find what matters to me?

You give Khashif your topic — your resonance keys. From there it: runs a grounded web search; classifies each result into a bucket (an opportunity, a node worth knowing, an intersection, or noise); follows the resonant links to find sources RSS never reaches; and looks for crossings — where two domains meet into something neither produces alone.

Water + flour = bread. Two known things making something new.

What is the consequence echo?

This is the part most agents miss. Memory tools record what was said; evaluation tools score what was produced; almost none watch the delayed, real-world outcome of a decision. Khashif records every door it opens — a posted question, an application, an introduction — and listens for what comes back. That return is the echo.

The decision-to-outcome loop is what turns discovery into calibration: over weeks, Khashif can say "last time you moved on X, here is what actually came back." Finding is the easy half; following through to the consequence is the half that compounds.

A real crossing Khashif surfaced

Discovery substrate × the new non-coder agent wave

When Anthropic's Cowork brought agentic power to non-coders, Khashif noticed the gap: Cowork acts on your files, but it does not continuously sense your field — what is moving in your domain, who matters, what is emerging.

That gap — persistent discovery + field topology + a return-listening loop — is exactly what a discovery substrate provides. A crossing between a brand-new market and an existing capability, surfaced because Khashif was watching both.
